Barcelona
Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain in both size and population with a population of approximately 1.6 million. Situated in the Catalan region of Spain, it is on the north east coast of the Iberian peninsula, adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea.
Catalonia is a distinct and proud autonomous region within Spain. Two official languages are spoken in Barcelona: Catalan, and Spanish, but we recommend that if you have a choice, then choose Catalan. |

The Apartment
The apartment is next door to the Palau de la Musica Catalana, a spectacular Modernism (Catalan Art Nouveau) building, and between the Ramblas and the Born area, in the heart of the Old City. Ramblas is the most famous street in the city. |

A vibrant and cosmopolitan city, Barcelona has a lot to offer for tourists. It is a modern city which use urban planning methods but also it preserves its historic Gothic centre.
You can live two epochs in the same city , walk at the famous Ramblas road (within walking distance from the Apartment), browse San Antonio market, visit older quarter, place, City Hall and the old Roman gateway.
Barcelona has over 50 museums, a host of galleries and a stunning cathedral.
Barcelona's sporting heritage is dominated by the renowned FC Barcelona, and you may wish to visit the legendary Nou Camp.
